Portsmouth chairman Al Fahim: We'll be okay in December

Portsmouth chairman Sulaiman Al Fahim is confident the club's finances will be in order by December.

New Blues owner Ali Al Faraj has not obtained a business visa and so is yet to visit the club he bought at the turn of the month. But at a board meeting the 40-year-old was represented by his financial advisor.

"Having seen the plans for the future I am very confident about where the club is going," Fahim told the Guardian. "There is a detailed strategy and among the intentions moving forward are serious plans for redeveloping Fratton Park, by turning it ninety degrees.

"It will take time but this will bring stability to Portsmouth, I am sure," he said. "By December it should be done."
