Portsmouth boss Hart wants clarity from new owners

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart is concerned with reports claiming new owner Ali Al-Faraj is only looking to make a profit from the club. Hart has had a difficult time since he took over at Pompey, both on the pitch and with constant speculation off it, and said he would like to meet the new owner to discuss the future of the club.

"It's disappointing, I think I have to say that," he said. "But not entirely unsurprising, because as over most of the summer, it's just another day.

"I do believe that it will be sorted out and in the fullness of time perhaps the correct messages will be received by all, but yes, I agree it's disappointing.

"But as always my job is to concentrate on the football side and that's what we'll try and do."

When asked if he wants one clear message to come from the new Pompey owner, Hart added: "I think so. I think that's a good point and I think one that we'd probably all welcome."
