Portsmouth boss Paul Hart says there's no chance of him being unsettled by the appointment of Avram Grant as director of football.
Hart says he's been through too much to be bothered about what the Israeli's presence will mean.
He told the News of the World: "I'm past the point where I am looking back over my shoulder. Life's too short.
"I don't think there is a man on the horizon who can do any better in our position. The other thing, of course, is that I could see us out of the mess we're in but you could just be keeping the seat warm for someone else to come in and take the job anyway.
"I would just say 'Good luck. If you think anyone could manage any better in this situation then they deserve a chance.' You can spend your life thinking about that but it's energy-wasting and there's no point to it all.
"What will be, will be."
