Portsmouth have made an offer for QPR winger Lee Cook.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has offered £2m - £100,000 more than Fulham put on the table last week in a deal that included teenage striker Ray Jones, says the Mirror.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa have been watching Cook. QPR have to pay 25 per cent of whatever they get for him to the 24-year-old's former club Watford.
Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini insisted Cook would stay. "Every time I speak to Lee he insists he's happy here," he said.
