Portsmouth administrator keen to speak with players willing to take pay-cuts

Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou is seeking out those players who wanted to take pay-cuts.

The 600 non-playing staff are in danger of redundancy and players face pay cuts to reduce a £1.8m-a-month bill.

Boss Avram Grant's £950,000-a-year fee will be slashed.

Andronikou said: "It was suggested one or two players offered to take cuts. I'm interested in finding out who."
