Porto have pulled out of talks for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.

A Bola says Porto have been put off a possible £42million signing because of a knee problem.

They feel there is too much risk that Mangala will suffer another knee issue during their pre-season training and the money will be wasted.

He has only played four matches under Guardiola and wasn't a part of their 'Quadruple' trophy parade after they added the FA Cup to the Premier League, EFL Cup and Community Shield last month.
