Porto president Pinto da Costa blasts Liverpool striker Salah for Danilo stamp

Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa has blasted Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah over his stamp on Danilo Pereira.

During Liverpool's Champions League win, the Egyptian caught the Porto skipper with a raised boot, but despite VAR being available for the quarter-final clash he escaped without even being booked.

"Danilo has to give thanks to God because this is an entrance to break a leg," the president told Record.

"I thank God that Danilo has not broken a leg."

The 81-year-old also claimed that Iker Casillas "had a day off" given Liverpool's failure to test him regularly.
