Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira is attracting Premier League interest.

The Sun says Arsenal and Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Pereira.

The Portugal international helped his country to Euro 2016 glory, and has won 27 caps. He can also operate in central defence.

Rivals Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho are big fans of the 26-year-old enforcer, with both bosses having him watched last year.

And spies from both clubs checked on Danilo again on Friday, when he helped Porto beat Tondela 1-0 to return to the top of the Primeira Liga.
