Porto coach Conceicao: Liverpool have weak points; Carvalhal advice?

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao has dismissed advice from Carlos Carvalhal about how to handle Champions League opponents Liverpool.

Carvalhal's Swansea City shocked Liverpool at the Liberty and suggested they can be beaten by treating them "like a Ferrari" and "do not let them speed up".

Conceicao replied: "Congratulations to Carlos who has made a good run, as well as to Nuno Espírito Santo and other Portuguese coaches in England.

"The Champions League is different from the championship, Swansea is struggling to survive and the context is different."

Asked if Liverpool's defence was their weak point, he added: "When we prepare for games, we look at the strengths and weaknesses that the team can have.

"We know that all teams can have fragile moments and we define our strategy for the game, Liverpool has the second best attack and the sixth best defence but it is a very good team and it is consistent, it creates difficulties for the opponent, but it has weak points that we must explore."
