Porto coach Sérgio Conceição is fuming over the prospect of losing Luis Diaz to Liverpool bfore next week's transfer deadline.

Diaz is currently on international duty with Colombia and will undergo a medical in Argentina ahead of the fixture between the two teams on Tuesday.

It is expected his move to Anfield will be completed over the weekend, with Liverpool set to pay an initial £37.5m, with a further £12.5m in add-on fees due dependent on his performance on Merseyside.

His release clause fee is set at £67m, but Porto were willing to accept a lower offer due to their financial struggles, having missed out on the Champions League knockout stages.

The deal will give Porto a welcome cash boost, but boss Conceição has been angered by the transfer, says A Bola.

Conceição is 'displeased' he will no longer have Diaz in his squad when Porto are battling it out for the domestic title.

His side are currently top of the Primeira Liga, six points clear of Sporting Lisbon and nine ahead of Benfica in third.

As such, Conceição has made it clear to the Porto board that he does not approve of Diaz's sale.
