Port Vale management are delighted with the impact of on-loan Fulham defender Jack Grimmer.
Grimmer has won a first cap with Scotland U21 this past week.
Port Vale coach Rob Page told The Sentinel: "Jack will handle it. What you don't want to happen is for them to let it get to them.
"You have to keep their feet on the ground. It is a fantastic achievement, but we will bring him back down to earth when he comes to the training ground.
"No doubt they have had lovely pitches to train on, but he will be back here today!
"He is a great lad to work with and he wants to learn."
