Port Vale boss Ribeiro could do business with Mourinho’s Man Utd

Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro has admitted that he may ask Jose Mourinho for some loan help this season.

Manchester United boss Mourinho helped the 40-year-old land the job with the League Two club this summer and may also come to the party with a few loans as the new campaign progresses.

"We will speak and after we will see if we can get something," he told the EFL weekly podcast.

"I spoke to him as this is new for me coaching in England."

Ribeiro also revealed how Mourinho is assisting him in settling into his role at Vale Park as the 2016/17 season gets set to kick off this weekend.

"I played in England, but coaching in England is new," the former Leeds United and Sheffield United midfielder added.

"I am still learning and I speak to him every day and I am very happy as he is a big name and the best in the world and for me, I am learning every day with everyone and seeing how other managers do training and this is fantastic."
