Pontus Dahlberg excited launching Watford career

Pontus Dahlberg is excited to be launching his Premier League career at Watford.

The 19-year-old former IFK Gothenburg goalkeeper is likely to play a supporting role next season and could even be sent out on loan after the arrival of Ben Foster as the Hornets' new number one.

“I watched a lot of the Premier League when I was younger. I think many in Sweden watch the Premier League and it's the best league in the world, with many of the best teams and players," he told Watford's YouTube.

“I want to become a better player and develop here. It is a great chance to do that here with great and amazing staff.

“There are so many people to help you with everything, from training in the gym to the sessions on the pitch.

“It has been really good, some long days compared to the days back in Sweden with a lot of tests and a lot of training, but it feels great to be here and to get started."
