Guernsey Police have suspended their search for a missing plane carrying Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala.
French authorities have confirmed the Argentine was on board of an aircraft that disappeared over the English Channel on Monday evening.
A search and rescue operation commenced that night, ending at 2am, before being called off and the starting at 8am.
An update released on Twitter by Guernsey Police read: "Search and rescue operations have been suspended as the sun has now set.
"The current plan is for it to resume at sunrise tomorrow. There will be no further updates tonight."
