Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has no regrets leaving Fulham in the summer.
The Russian rejected a new contract offer at Fulham to sign for the Royals.
"My former team Fulham are doing better than Reading at the moment, but I wouldn't say that I am sorry I left them," he said.
"I would say that I feel gloomy. I make no secret of the fact that it was difficult for me to leave Martin Jol's team.
"I had the desire to stay, but this is football and I signed for another team. I am still in touch with Jol and he is a strong coach."
