Pogba, Martial help Man Utd swoop for Hannibal Mejbri

Manchester United are wrapping up a deal for AS Monaco teen Hannibal Mejbri.

Le Parisien says Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial were on hand to provide advice and encouragement for 16-year-old wonderkid Mejbri ahead of his transfer to United.

The French-Tunisian will officially become a United player in January when he turns 17, with the details of his switch from Monaco all but agreed.

United invited him to their Carrington training ground in a bid to woo him and his family, with the teen deciding on the switch to Old Trafford shortly afterwards.

It was there that Mejbri met with Pogba and Martial, who spoke to him in French and encouraged him to "join them quickly" in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team setup.

The report adds that Solskjaer was similarly encouraging, telling the youngster to "work hard to get where the club want to see him" in the near future.
