Pogba 'high-fived teammates' after Man Utd axe fell for Mourinho

Paul Pogba celebrated the sacking of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United training yesterday.

The Mirror says Pogba led the dressing room celebrations after Jose Mourinho was sacked.

The whole mood at the Manchester United training ground changed dramatically on Tuesday following Mourinho's dismissal.

Pogba, who had been involved in a long-running feud with manager Mourinho, high-fived teammates once they were told the news by the Old Trafford giants' executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The Frenchman was left on the bench for the humiliating defeat at Liverpool on Sunday that proved to be Mourinho's final game in charge, the now ex-United boss blanking him again after a recall for a Champions League dead-rubber defeat away to Valencia four days earlier.

Pogba's Instagram account also featured a post with a photo of him smiling alongside the words “Caption This" shortly after the story of Mourinho's sacking first broke.

It was later deleted, and blamed on unfortunately-timed pre-scheduled posts connected to an Adidas advertising campaign.
