Pogba delivers glowing assessment of Man Utd, Chelsea target Tchouameni

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has given a positive review of France teammate Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Monaco midfielder made his France debut last week and featured in all three of his nation's games during the international break.

United and Chelsea have been strongly linked with the 21-year-old, and Pogba has given his tick of approval.

Asked to give his verdict on Tchouameni, Pogba told RTL: "Very, very good. He's not a boy, he's a man.

"It's a pleasure to play next to him. He brings a lot of energy. A lot of energy, extraordinary technical and physical quality.

"We wish him to play a lot more games and that I am always by his side."

Monaco paid Bordeaux around €20m to sign Tchouameni just a year ago.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking at the youngster, along with West Ham United star Declan Rice, as a potential midfield signing for next summer.
