Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has urged his players to keep performing at the same level they displayed in the 1-0 win against Sunderland at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

The Argentine manager was delighted to return to winning ways following the midweek Champions League defeat to Monaco and feels this sort of performance can get them winning on a consistent basis.

"It was a good result," Pochettino said after Harry Kane won it for Spurs.

"For the chances we create it's difficult to understand why only 1-0.

"We created many chances but okay, I'm happy with the performance and attitude and the way we played from the first minute.

"That's the way we need to play every game, not only some games."
