Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to keep Newcastle United waiting.

Pochettino is the Toon's incoming owners' No1 choice to lead their project going into a new era.

However, AS says while the Argentine has contact with the consortium, he wants to keep his options open going into the summer market.

Pochettino would prefer to take charge of a Champions League club and is aware of the situations at PSG and Juventus, along with potentially Real Madrid.

But it's claimed he also hasn't ruled out taking the Newcastle job, as he has stated he'd prefer to work in the Premier League.
