Former PSG and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he'd be open to returning to Espanyol.
The Catalans launched the Argentine's coaching career.
He said, “Talking about coming back is always embarrassing. Diego (Martínez) is a great coach and I hope he spends many years at Espanyol. Of course, when you have been a player and what happened as a coach, you always have the sting to return and not for revenge, far from it, but to achieve things, to be able to give all our people the joy of fighting for important things.
“Pochettino, in a second stage as coach, would listen to what kind of project, what are the objectives.
"In a project where the objectives are clear and the tools to achieve them are there, why not, I would have to think about it."
