Tottenham Hotspur have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Colchester United.

After the game finished goalless in normal time, Colchester won 4-3 on penalties with Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura missing for the Premier League club.

Tom Lapslie stepped up to send Colchester into the last 16 for the first time in 44 years.

Colchester were the lowest ranking team left in the competition heading into the third-round.
