Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has backed Erik Lamela to provide Spurs the cutting edge in front of goal.
Lamela made his first start in over 13 months during Tottenham's 2-0 victory over Brighton on Wednesday and the Argentine having put in an encouraging display, manager Mauricio Pochettino has backed the attacker to provide the missing edge in attack for his side.
"I think it is so important, he brought fantastic energy to the team and the last few weeks too," Pochettino told reporters.
"It's normal and he needs time to give his best. I think it's so important for the team to have him fit again and I think he's going to help us a lot."
