Mauricio Pochettino and his staff are stunned by claims that he lied about Real Madrid turning down a request for his Tottenham squad to use the Valdebebas sleeping quarters.
The Spurs boss revealed they were clear to train at Valdebebas ahead of the Champions League final, but could not sleep there.
Staff insist Real Madrid's response was that the rooms of the sports city are personalised by the club's players and it was not possible. It seemed reasonable to Tottenham and instead they reserved a hotel, the Eurostars de Mirasierra.
While there's some surprise by Real's public statement over the weekend, today Tottenham staff members are maintaining cordial communication on the subject with the Spanish giants, reports Marca.
