Plymouth captain Edwards excited facing Chelsea

Plymouth Argyle captain Joe Edwards says it will be a dream come true leading his team out against Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The League One side will be hoping to cause an upset when they head to west London.

Asked about the prospect of leading out Argyle at a sold-out Stamford Bridge, Edwards told PlymouthLive: "It doesn't get much better than that.

"It's something that you dream of growing up, playing at the Premier League stadiums. If I'm able to lead the boys out it will be a massive moment for myself and my family.

"As long as we can make the Argyle fans proud and our families proud then that's all we can do.

"There is no pressure on us, but you want to give a good account of yourself. You don't want to just turn up and roll over, you want to put in a good performance.

"There's 6,000 Argyle fans going to be there, which you could have sold 10 times over. We don't want to let anyone down in terms of that, albeit it's going to be very tough.

"You want to put on your best performance as you can and after that it is what it is."
