Plymouth Argyle boss Peter Reid hopes to raid Manchester United for loan signings.
The Pilgrims boss was at Manchester City's 3-0 home win against Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday and also attended the reserve game between the two sides at Hyde FC on Tuesday night. Sky Sports cameras captured him sitting next to Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson but Reid insisted too much significance should not be read into the meeting..
He told Herald Sport: "I have spoken to a lot of Premier League managers about players. I don't think it's fair to name any individuals, but it's definitely something we are looking to do.".
Reid added: "I have known Sir Alex for a long time and we had dinner at the game on Monday with a mutual friend."
