Platini, Bettega considered for board roles at new-look Juventus

Michel Platini, Roberto Bettega and Alessandro del Piero are all being linked with returns to Juventus.

The board and president Andrea Agnelli resigned on Monday amid a financial investigation.

Exor, Juve's holding company, have named Gianluca Ferrero as new president. Maurizio Scanavino will be general manager and Maurizio Arrivabene will stay on as chief executive until January.

Sporting director Federico Cherubini will also be staying on.

Other places on the board are to be filled, with Michel Platini, Roberto Bettega and Alessandro del Piero, along with Alessandro Nasi, mentioned as candidates.
