Miralem Pjanic has revealed his desire to play alongside Edin Dzeko at club level.

Pjanic is a close friend of his Bosnia-Herzegovina teammate Dzeko and admits he would love to play with Manchester City striker at AS Roma.

"I talk to him frequently," Pjanic told Roma TV.

"We also talk a lot about our clubs and this year's been difficult for him. He's a great player with lots of quality and a player like him would do good to any team.

"He's already won a lot and I would love to have him close to me always."

Dzeko is being linked with a summer exit at City after making just 11 Premier League starts last season.
