Former Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi is backing Arturo Vidal for success with Inter Milan.

The Barcelona midfielder is being linked with a summer move to Inter.

"Italian football is the ideal environment for the characteristics Arturo Vidal. If he decides to leave Barcelona, I think a move to Inter would be ideal for him," Pizzi told Calciomercato.it.

“He showed the best version of himself are Arsenal and the Premier League is probably the best league for him to be in. He has to get back to believing in his enormous qualities as he has everything to be a top player again.

“He needs a coach who knows him, who gives him confidence and reassures him. He has to recover and be aware that consistency is found over time."
