Roma have secured midfield pair Simone Perrotta and David Pizarro to new contracts.

Perrotta has added a year on to his contract, which will now expire in 2011. The 32-year-old will earn close to £3.2m a year net, although that figure could rise if he meets certain objectives.

Pizarro has also put pen to paper on a deal that will see him earn the same as Perrotta, but over a longer period of time with his contract expiring in 2013.
