Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon says he is very proud of the defenders who play in front of him.
The 39-year old Colombian veteran has helped the Union take spot on the Eastern Conference table, conceding just two goals in five matches, and spoke of his love for the defense following the 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders on the weekend.
"I think we work very hard and it's been a busy season so far. Everyone has been excited for what has to be done. I am very proud to have my defense," he said.
"The ball hasn't come to me a lot but that is because of a very good job of my defense. We need to be very concentrated from the first to last minute.
"We did a great job and had two or three good chances. We have to keep working as we have a very young team in order to protect the net for the last few minutes of the game as well."
