Philadelphia Union's Carlos Valdes is nearing a move to Nacional de Montevideo according to reports.
According to El Pais, the 29-year old Colombian defender is in negotiations with the Uruguayan outfit and that a deal is expected to be completed soon.
Valdes arrived at Philly from Independiente Santa Fe in 2011 but it appears as though he might be on his way out after a Nacional spokesman told El Pais that 'negotiations are on track, hopefully in the next few hours they can close and we can count on him'.
During his time with the Union, the 16-time Colombia international made close to 80 appearances including 73 in MLS.
