Hull City boss Mike Phelan is happy the players want him to stay.

Phelan admits he's in limbo until a proposed takeover of the club finally goes through.

Phelan said: “The players have expressed their desire for me to be in charge which is nice.

“But at this stage I'm not sure what the situation is going forward as to who is coming in to take over."
