Former Celtic winger Bobby Petta is confident that potential new signing Derk Boerrigter will be a success in Glasgow.
26-year old Ajax winger Boerrigter is on the verge of completing a £3million move to the Scottish champions and fellow Dutchman Petta is excited.
"I see a little bit of myself in Derk. He likes to drive forward, take people on, and is comfortable going inside or outside. He has a similar style to my own and this guy can play, believe me," Petta said.
"He is an old-fashioned, classic, Dutch-style winger and that is something we don't see enough of these days. It is hard to find guys with Derk's qualities in the modern game and I'm confident he will be a huge success here.
"Derk will excite the Celtic fans. He will get them off their seats and they will love watching him.
"Throughout Celtic's history, they've always had talented wingers, guys who can entertain the fans."
