Peterborough United will receive a bonus payment from Brentford if Ivan Toney plays for England in the coming weeks.

The Three Lions have Euro qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine, which may see Toney get his first cap.

Brentford secured Toney from the League One club three years ago for a modest fee that included various clauses.

One of them, per The Mail, was for a bonus payment if Toney ever played for England.

The deal, which was for £6 million, has already resulted in Peterborough gaining an additional £2.5 million in bonuses.
