Peterborough chairman MacAnthony reveals Toney interesting RB Leipzig

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony says Ivan Toney is interesting RB Leipzig.

The former Newcastle United striker is expected to be on the move this summer.

McAnthony has claimed that Toney is a surprise target for RB Leipzig as they look to replace Chelsea-bound Timo Werner.

The Posh are resigned to selling League One's top goalscorer after they missed out on a play-off place after the season was curtailed last week, dropping from 6th to 7th on the points-per-game method.

MacAnthony wrote on Twitter that there had been interest "from a club that owned NY and German club yes."
