Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony admits he'd like to sell Ricky-Jade Jones to Liverpool.
Jones has scored four goals in 11 games in his fledgling career and the striker has still yet to get off the mark in six League One outings but he has already been the subject of transfer speculation regarding both Liverpool and old foes Manchester United.
When replying to a fan's Tweet saying “United will take him" following an article which said Manchester United and Liverpool were tracking Jones, MacAnthony replied: “No doubt they like him. The Gaffer (Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson, son of Alex) has told his own dad about him of course.
“I'd like him to go to Liverpool eventually lol. But plenty of time for all that down the line."
