Peterborough boss Ferguson furious over job threat reports

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has slammed claims he is fighting for his job.

Reports suggested Ferguson Jnr was called away from a coaching course in Cardiff on Sunday to attend a summit with club chairman Darragh MacAnthony.

But incensed over the story, Ferguson hit back, insisting it was completely untrue.

"It's absolute rubbish. I left for Cardiff at 5am yesterday morning and drove back straight after the course," he told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

"There were no meetings with the chairman."
