New Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin felt his players showed a strong personality in their 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday.
In the Italian's first game in charge of the Welsh club, the Swans managed to overcome a quality Toffees outfit at Goodison Park thanks to goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Andre Ayew.
All goals came in the first half but Guidolin felt his players did a good job in maintaining their focus during the second lot of 45 minutes as they secured a second win in a row to move four points clear of the relegation zone.
"The personality and focus," Guidolin told Sky Sports when asked what pleased him the most.
"We played very well at the beginning and I like to have a team that plays home and away in the same way.
"Today we played in this way and my team played well for 10 or 15 minutes in the second half but Everton is a good team."
Following last week's win over Watford, which Guidolin watched from the stands, the Italian is now looking to keep the momentum of his and Alan Curtis' side going after they moved up 15th on the league table.
"We go day-by-day, step-by-step. This is our target and it is important we have taken six points in two matches," he added.
"We need confidence so this result is very important for us."
