Newcastle United's Ayoze Perez is grateful for the support his team has been receiving from the fans since the start of the season.

However, the striker acknowledges the Magpies should reward them with points rather than just good performances, as Newcastle have a single point from four games played so far.

"Our fans can see we gave everything but they are always great with us," Perez told the Chronicle.

"They support us everywhere we go and we know that they are there for us.

"Now we have to make sure we give them points. We want to give them a more comfortable position and that starts against Arsenal.

"It is another tough test - but it is the time to start getting points because we have got four games on the board and have just one point."
