Percy Tau insists he wants to stay and fight for his place at Brighton.

The South Africa international has been linked with a return to Belgium, where he has been linked with Anderlecht and Club Brugge.

But in an online chat with fans, Tau has declared he wants to stay with Brighton and find a place in manager Graham Potter's plans.

He stated to one supporter, "I still want to fight for my place at Brighton", while he told another, "At the moment the focus is to fight for a place in the team".

Tau has a deal with Brighton to 2022.
