Pepe Reina is delighted with his move to Lazio.

The veteran goalkeeper joined Lazio from AC Milan after spending the second-half of last season on-loan with Aston Villa.

“I chose Lazio because they are an important reality in our football," he told Lazio Style Challenge.

“This is a project that wants to keep growing to win something important.

“I come with humility to lend a hand."

Reina continued: “This group have been working together for some time and has an automatism that must be exploited.

“Even greater cohesion within the group will be needed and it will certainly come.

“You have to be ready for anything. We want to do well in every competition that we will be called up to play in.

“We will do our best and honour the jersey in every challenge. This is football: I want to pass this on to the whole group."
