Pep Guardiola commits to new Man City contract

Pep Guardiola has committed to new terms at Manchester City, it has been revealed.

The Mirror says Guardiola has agreed a new contract with City.

Guardiola, whose existing deal was due to expire at the end of this season, is understood to have reached agreement in principle with City over a contract extension.

The 49-year-old. who is now in his fifth year at City, has won two Premier League titles, three League Cups and the FA Cup with the Blues, but wants to add the Champions League to that list.

According to those who know Guardiola well, the Spaniard has agreed to a new deal that will see him stay at City beyond the end of the 2021-22 season.

Guardiola is understood to have used the recent international break to decide on his future and is committed to leading City for the foreseeable future, with the remit of winning back the Premier League and landing the club's first Champions League crown.
