Former Serie A striker Sergio Pellissier has declared Napoli ace Victor Osimhen as the best centre-forward in Italy.

Pellissier admits he's a big fan of the Nigerian.

He told TMW: "I've been saying for years that Osimhen is among the most complete there is at the moment. This year he's doing extraordinary things, he's making the difference and he's needed in Naples, he's shown it in the last two years.

"He's the one who's making Napoli better, I see him as the best, even if there are others who are doing well."

On Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, on-loan from Chelsea, Pellissier also said: "He has a lot of impact because Lukaku practically won the championship with (Antonio) Conte.

"He was an extraordinary player, who kept two defenders busy every game, he was in the department alone and was always good. This is proof that he's really important, but He comes from a disastrous year, he was hurt immediately and it's not easy to recover.

"When you have these problems it's difficult to affect the way he did with Conte. We will have to see how he will recover and how long he will have to get back in shape."
