Mauricio Pellegrino remains faithful in Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini.

After bursting on the scene last January, the Italian has started just ten games in all competitions for the Saints this season.

But the Argentine wants to keep Gabbiadini at St. Mary's.

"He's an important player for us," Pellegrino said.

"He's not playing too much right now but is one of our main strikers, our main players, and I want to keep him."
