Pellegrini insists Toure will stay at Man City

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is supremely confident that Yaya Toure will remain at the club.

The 32-year old midfielder continues to be heavily linked with a possible summer departure from the Etihad Stadium but Pellegrini is assured that he will not be losing his star player anytime soon.

"I always say Yaya is happy here. He will stay here because I know the way he thinks," said Pellegrini at a press conference ahead of City's game against MLS side Toronto FC.

Toure was recently linked with Italian club Inter Milan but his agent Dimitri Seluk has since come out and suggested that he will remain at City for the final two years of his £220,000-a-week contract.
