Pelle scores as Southampton boss Koeman enjoys happy return to Feyenoord

Southampton striker Graziano Pelle was on the scoresheet as Ronald Koeman enjoyed a 3-0 friendly win against his old club Feyenoord on Thursday.

Koeman was not the only person making a return to De Kuip as Pelle and new signing Jordy Claise were also on the team-sheet against their former club.

Pelle opened the scoring in the 41st minute, guiding home Dusan Tadic's cross after some neat work from Matt Target.

The Saints doubled their lead just after half-time when defender Maya Yoshida rose highest to head Steven Davis' free-kick into the net.

Koeman's side scored again just seven minutes from time when substitutes Shane Long and Juanmi combined before the Spanish striker make it 3-0.
