PEC Zwolle have struck a deal for Nottingham Forest striker Lars Veldwijk.

De Stentor says Veldwijk will return to the Eredivisie on-loan with PEC.

"He was, playing in the Netherlands, at the level of the Eredivisie, but he still needs to show it at the highest level," PEC sports director Gerard Nijkamp said.

"The successor for (Tomas) Necid? It makes no sense to compare these two guys, but Veldwijk is a similar type of attacker."
