Pearson wants to stay at Watford

Watford boss Nigel Pearson hopes he will be at the club next season.

The Hornets are in the climax of their fight to stay in the Premier League.

They have a key game with West Ham United on Friday, with the winner having a huge chance of survival.

When he was asked about next season ahead of the game, Pearson told Sky Sports: "Hopefully yes, but now is not the time to be talking about me. I've been speaking to the club, we've got an agreement and that's fine by me, but now is not the time.

"We've got three games left and it's important we do everything we can to pick up as many points as possible.

"The future is not something I feel the need to talk about. I'm very comfortable with my relationship with the club and how we've both dealt with the situation, so we'll look at that when we need to but not now.

"I'm enjoying working here. I don't always enjoy being in a tough scrape, but it's been a good experience."
