Having seen the Hammers crumble under a tense home atmosphere against Wolves this week, Pearson called for a positive atmosphere inside the KC Stadium.
"I think it is the most crucial month in the club's history," Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail. "It has been an extremely difficult 16 months at this football club and our playing record has been very poor and taken its toll.
"It's a very expensive club to run and it needs Premier League revenues to run it. Fans must get behind Iain and the team."
Pearson added: "You can see what happens when the crowd turns. You lose all kind of chances of getting results at home.
"But I know this crowd, they will be right behind us I am sure on Saturday."
